This Privacy Policy explains what information the Arun Silver website (this site) collects when you browse our wholesale catalogue, use the "Get in Touch" pop-up, or send us an inquiry, and how that information is used. This site does not use accounts, logins, checkout forms, or payment processing.

What We Collect

Inquiry List (before you send it): When you add catalogue items to your inquiry list, that list (SKU codes, weight/size and quantities) is stored only in your own browser's local storage. It is never transmitted to us automatically and is never seen by us until you choose to send it.
Get in Touch pop-up: If you submit the site-wide pop-up, we collect the name, phone number, email and firm name you enter. This is logged to a database on our server and emailed to us, so we can follow up with wholesale pricing and MOQ for the designs you're interested in. This is not automatic - it only happens if you fill in and submit the form.
Custom Orders form: If you submit the Custom Orders request form, we collect your firm name, contact name, phone and/or email, product type, dimensions, description, address, and - if you choose to attach one - a reference photo. This is logged to the same database as the "Get in Touch" pop-up and emailed to us, so we can confirm the minimum order quantity and pricing for your request. Any reference photo is stored on our server and is not publicly accessible - it can only be viewed by us, through a password-protected admin panel. As with every form on this site, this only happens if you fill in and submit it yourself.
Sent Inquiries: When you click "Send via WhatsApp" or "Send via Email," your browser opens WhatsApp or your email app with a pre-filled message - sending that message is your own action, and standard WhatsApp/email-provider privacy terms apply to the message itself from that point. Separately, a record of what you sent (the SKU list, the channel used, and your IP address) is also logged to a database on our server and emailed to us, as a backup in case the WhatsApp/email step is interrupted on your device.
Basic Hosting Logs: Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance purposes, the way virtually all websites do. We do not use this data for marketing profiling.

Cookies, Local Storage & Third-Party Embeds

We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your inquiry list and saved/wishlist items between page visits on this device. We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how visitors use the site. It sets its own cookies (named _ga) and collects anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and the site that referred you. We use it only as overall numbers, not for advertising. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies for this site. No advertising scripts are used on this site. Our homepage embeds a small number of Instagram posts using Meta's official embed script, which may set its own cookies and collect data per Meta/Instagram's own privacy policy - this only loads on the homepage.

Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data you submit is used only to respond to your wholesale inquiry. If you contact us via WhatsApp or email, your message is additionally handled through WhatsApp's/Google's own systems, governed by their respective privacy policies.

Your Rights

You may clear your inquiry list at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by removing items individually from the inquiry drawer. If you've sent us an inquiry and want that message/data deleted from our records, contact us using the details on our Contact page and we will action it.

Children's Privacy

This site is a business-to-business wholesale catalogue and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, if we add analytics or an order-tracking system in future). Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
