If you're used to retail shopping, a wholesale silver catalogue with no prices listed can feel like something's missing. It isn't - 925 sterling silver is priced against the live daily silver rate (see our guide to how that rate works), so a fixed price tag on the page would go stale the same day it was printed. Here's what actually determines what you pay.
The three real inputs to a wholesale silver price
- The day's silver rate. This moves daily and is the single biggest driver of the final number - it's confirmed at the time your order is confirmed, not at the time you were browsing.
- Weight, where it's quoted per piece. Many designs - chains especially - are supplied across a range of weight options (see, for example, our Chains collection, where a single style is often available anywhere from under a gram to several grams per 16-inch length). Heavier options use more silver, so they cost more, independent of the day's rate.
- Making charges. On top of the silver-rate value, a making charge covers the actual work of producing the piece - this is where hand-detailed work (like the granulation and filigree on our Bali Beads) differs from a simpler stamped or plain design.
Why per-gram, not per-piece, is the meaningful unit
Two designs that look similar in size can carry meaningfully different weight - and weight, not visual size, is what silver pricing actually tracks. This is also why a real price list quotes per gram or per piece with a weight attached, rather than a flat number: a flat number would be quietly wrong the moment weight or the day's rate shifted, in either direction.
How to get an actual price
Since nothing on the page can responsibly show a live number, the way to get real pricing is to build an inquiry list (add whichever designs and quantities you're considering, no account needed) and send it to us via WhatsApp or email. We reply with the day's confirmed pricing for exactly what you asked about - not a generic starting-from figure. If you want a rough order-size estimate before you do that, the Quick Order Estimator on our homepage gives a ballpark without requiring a live quote.
